Uptown Gallery Workshop
Mixing Mediums: Fusing Fiber and Technology
In this workshop students will be provided with fabric and the tools to create a heat transfer onto fabric. We will experiment with fabric paint and acrylics on canvas, along with basic stitching and quilting techniques. The instructor will work with students individually and collectively as they explore and challenge themselves with fusing the various mediums into a workable piece of art. This is designed as a jumping off point, to inspire each student to work further in exploring various mediums in one piece.
